About the role
This role involves performing moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions and activities for semiconductor equipment. You will work on AMAT platforms, focusing on various testing and troubleshooting tasks.
What you'll do
- Perform electro-mechanical technical functions like design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly.
- Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Perform new system and NPI installations and field upgrades.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform testing and troubleshooting.
- Compile logbooks and test procedures documentation.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms.
What you'll need
- Developed proficiency in a range of analytical processes or procedures.
- Good understanding of how the team integrates with others to achieve objectives.
- Ability to provide informal guidance and support to more junior team members.
- Capability to provide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures.
- Strong communication skills to regularly exchange information.
